Does it feel like you’ve tried EVERYTHING?

At least everything that fits within your values.

And yet still, their behaviour issues aren’t improving?

Have you seen multiple trainers with minimal results, tried everything the internet has told you to do? Even gone to the vet, as suggested by trainers, and gotten the “all clear” and you STILL feel like your dog is struggling to learn?

Your dog may be dealing with undiagnosed pain and I am here to help you get to the bottom of it.

 FAQs

  • No, I do not have to see your dog in person!

A key part of the assessment is collecting specific footage of your dog in their daily life. Adding in big distractions (like a whole new person) can drastically change the way your dog moves and rests, distorting our view of their gait and posture.

Don’t worry, just because we work virtually doesn’t mean that I won’t be with you every step of the way!

  • No. I am not a veterinarian and cannot diagnose your dog. Please be extremely wary of anyone who is not a vet offering specific diagnosis.

What I can do is analyze your dog’s posture and movement, and compile a list of abnormalities and probable indicators of pain that can be used to pursue diagnostics with the support of a veterinarian.

Your report can also be used to track changes in mobility (it’s easier to see issues when you know exactly what to look for!) and to track progress when introducing non-medical interventions (such as home adaptations).

  • No, I cannot instruct you on specific exercises. These should only be provided by a rehabilitation veterinarian, or canine fitness instructor in collaboration with a specialist veterinarian.

I can help you modify your typical routine (walks, home life, etc.) to better fit your dog’s current needs.

  • Unfortunately all of the dogs I have assessed have shown probable indicators of pain.

Fortunately, I have also been able to help each of those dogs live a less painful life!

Whether through supporting and advocating for my clients through diagnostics (most often diagnostic pain medication trials), helping them to modify their home to better suit they’re dog’s needs or adapting their training plans.
